There are virtual field trips for almost every educational subject.

Most programs are customizable to any age group, Kindergarten through College. However, do not get "locked in" by the grades indicated in the database. If you think the subject area is something your students could benefit from, give us a call. The VTA will contact the hosting site and see about adapting the program to your students' grade level. If necessary, you might work with the presenter to develop a new program. Most presenters are flexible and enjoy the opportunity! Remember, this is new technology for everyone and constantly evolving. It is exciting to be a part of it all!

There are also online searchable databases with 1000's of programs available. You can search for programs by Description, Keywords, Subject Area, Title, Host Site, Grade Level, or Cost. Do you want a free field trip? One relating to wetlands? We have links to two comprehensive databases to aid you in your search.

We are always looking for teachers to volunteer their class to work with other classes or participate in interactive school-to-school activities. Be a part of cutting edge technology! Be willing to experiment! Don't worry, we have a group of individuals that will work as a team to walk you through from start to finish. We want this to be fun, but do not forget, this is a wonderful teaching tool and valuable experience for your students.
